Coach Gio was born in California but moved to Mexico at an early age. He remembers starting to play soccer with his friends on the streets of Tequila, Jalisco, just outside of Guadalajara.
Gio moved to Memphis, TN at around 11 where he played with local youth clubs and helped Kingsbury High School make their first State Cup appearance

Coach Gio was born in California but moved to Mexico at an early age. He remembers starting to play soccer with his friends on the streets of Tequila, Jalisco, just outside of Guadalajara.
Gio moved to Memphis, TN at around 11 where he played with local youth clubs and helped Kingsbury High School make their first State Cup appearance in school's history. They went on and made 3 state appearances in a row. He continued his education as a student-athlete for the University of Memphis and joined the Memphis Tigers Men's Soccer Program. He continued his playing career in the UPSL with We United FC and later with the Jackson Boom. Additionally, he signed a professional contract to represent the Memphis Americans in indoor soccer.
Gio currently holds a USSF D License and has completed many certifications from top organizations like Coerver, TOVO, US Futsal, United Soccer Coaches, and Football Coach Evolution.

Coach Djordje (pronounced JOR-jay) was born and raised in Smederevska Palanka , Serbia near the capital of Belgrade where he played for teams like FK Partizan Belgrade, FK Lub Rad, Metalac and was invited to camps with the U16-U18 Serbian Youth National Teams.
After graduating from Palanacka Gimnazija, Djordje decided to continue to

After graduating from Palanacka Gimnazija, Djordje decided to continue to play soccer while pursuing a degree in the United States. He received a scholarship to play at Oklahoma City University and later transferred to Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. Djordje has played for many teams in the midsouth including the Memphis Americans, We United FC, and the Jackson Boom. He is also in charge of Memphis Crew FC who participate in the Greater Memphis Soccer Association.
Djordje currently holds the 4v4-11v11 USSF Grassroots Licenses and is helping to grow the soccer community in Northwest Mississippi where he resides.
